"Our mission is to educate the generations about correct rabbit care, rabbit welfare, and to change the future for as many rabbits as we possibly can."
ABOUT THE RESCUE
We are a small Rabbit Rescue based in South Wales, UK. We have always had a love for rabbits, we had a group of six bunnies before the rescue began, and it all started from there.
'Our accidental rescue'. A different Animal Rescue, that was local to us, contacted us about 5 rabbits that desperately needed somewhere safe to stay, so, of course, we took them in. From there, we knew that they all needed neutering, vaccinations and a friend before we could re-home them. That is when 'Carrot Cottage Rabbit Rescue' was born!
We are now a UK registered charity, and have helped over 150 bunnies. We also offer sanctuary to many bunnies with complex medical needs. We re-home, but never to hutches, or to live alone. We strictly follow RWAF guidelines.

WANT TO LEARN MORE?
Our mission is to promote and encourage the correct care of rabbits. On our Education pages, you can find all the information you need about rabbit care, alongside information around grouping and bonding rabbits.
WANT TO ADOPT?
If you're interested in adopting a rabbit, you can visit the adoption page to see what rabbits are currently available. We will only rehome to RWAF standards, will carry out enclosure checks, and will never allow a rabbit to live alone.
MAKING A DIFFERENCE.
Here you can view the (currently) 15 rabbits that have a sanctuary space with us, due to complex needs or otherwise. These rabbits require daily care and attention, and are some of our biggest success stories.
